Order not to talk?

When the Ts get really annoying on the mics, can you order them not to use them? I jokingly used that order and a few people got warning shot due to it. (Then various people said it wasn't allowed.)

 

Obviously, not an order you can abuse. But can you use it at all? I don't see anything prohibiting it in the MOTD or the !rules tab. I'd certainly enjoy using it, especially when 5 ts start yelling freeday and all hell breaks loose.

it is if they are talking over the cts when the cts are giving orders, but insted of telling them to shut up, an admin somtimes mute them all

personally i think that's a very reasonable rule.

 

if the t's keep on spamming their mic so the orders can not be given clearly the round will fail.

 

I agree that we can't say don't speak for the rest for the round,

but I do think we must be able to say, shut up till orders are given.

otherwhise some terror will prevent the orders to be given clearly & hope that this might get them a freeday. Ct's however might not care bout that & just shoot every1 not following the orders (either they heard it or not).

 

this would result in a total chaos. & lot's of Q_Q

We have discussed this before, its like telling someone not to use ure flashlight. If its apart of the userinterface you may not order them not to use it. If its spam then a admin can take care of it but T's using the mic is a tactic to confuse other ct's on the rules.

Ok, thanks Drox. I asked why it wasn't allowed in game, no one gave me a reasonable reason. (They did say I'd get flamed for asking, lol.)
