I have to be even more honest when it comes to big name brands like HP. Though they offer you crap ton of cool things like Blu-Ray drives there's a huge catch: their cases, motherboards, and PSUs won't be as 'future proof' as a custom built would be. Overclocking is nearly an absolute no and gaming will be half as decent. Really though, if you can't find the time to learn how to build a PC let alone learn the basics around it you can just try going to a local Tigerdirect if you have one. Their prices are not as great as Newegg but what the good trade off is though is that you can pick out some parts and get the tech guys to build it for you in less than 3 days. They know their stuff generally...well at least the dudes I've worked with there at my Tigerdirect. Well like I mentioned before it's not so much I don't want to build my own or learn how, but I can't. It's just not possible, literally. I do have a tiger direct like 15 minutes away from my house though so I'll look into that. Thanks. Link to comment

Like I said earlier it's not my money so it's not really my decision on how it gets spent. Insofar as I can choose what to buy, but not how it's put together. Link to comment

If I lived near you I would offer up my services but I'm afraid shipping would be half your budget haha. Link to comment
