Obviously you said you were trying to play CS:S but usually that error would be hammer related and/or mod related.. =T Either way, I'd defrag your CS:S files and Verify integrity. Right click on the game(CS:S) in the Steam window > Properties > Local files. Defrag first then Verify imo. Usually with hammer it occurs when you made your own textures and try to play the map, or your own mod, but that generally gives an error with the map/mod itself and not CS:S. IDK =[ Try googling hammer related gameui.dll errors, someone might have the answer for you lol.
