Tell me when you root it.

Not sure if I will, waiting until I hear about official release date for froyo from Sprint.

Could you play games like GTA on that phoney?

Probably. it uses the snapdragon processor

Doesn't that thing have only 4 hours of battery life? Still its nice to have a phone with 4G and guaranteed Android 2.2 update. But I'll wait for the iPhone 4.

Not sure about battery life yet, I've been home all day.

I had the palm pre before this and the battery on that wasn't so good either. But i found if i just turned off 3g/gps/wifi etc when i didn't need it that i would last a couple days.

I figure I'll turn off all that crap on this phone when I'm not using it too. It has easy to access customizable control panel where you can turn that stuff of with one click.

I'm willing to trade some battery life for awesomeness.

You could just condition the battery to make it last longer. Use it until it runs out and keep turning on the phone until it doesn't turn on and then let it charge. When it is fully charged let it charge for 1 more hour then start using it again.

Edit: If you have blinking LEDs to indicate when you get a new message or your battery is low. It should flash red when you're low on battery. If it does, use it until it's out then keep turning on the phone until only the red led will flash once or twice.

You probably could, but the game would have to be ported over for that to happen.
