your a freakin idiot... that thing is build like crap and breaks.. as said before if your gonna put 7 speakers in a headset the money save is going to come from some where... built and component quality so dont call me a fool when you have no idea what your talking about.. and im not making this up I had first had experience with the POS your talking about!

 

And its expensive as fuck!!! HD555 is 85 bucks, sony XB555 is 60 bucks!! both much better!!

 

If you are gonna buy a gaming headset buy logitech! their headset I owned several for sky and msn and gaming never failed me!

 

and I own the HD 555 and you would not believe how sturdy that thing is...the cord is 10 feet long so let me tell you its been pulled...and its still flawless...and it can be replaced..

 

Satan's steelseries just broke after i told him NOT to get it and guess what they didnt even want to replace it..they just sent a check not email, no communication what so ever...

 

Hey there ignorance, do research before you spew bullshit. The carcharias isn't a 7.1 headset sherlock, it's a stereo headset, only 1 speaker each cup... You sure have a lot of experience, i can take apart the headset if you want just to prove you SO wrong. I'm 100% certain you have never even owned this headset, i have taken it apart myself to see the internals, and it has awesome build quality, very strong feel to it along with being ridiculously light and comfortable.

 

I'm sure, if anything, you are talking about the razer megalodon, which is essentially the same thing but is 7.1, i can't speak for that headset, it is easily possible that it has a different build quality or such, but the carcharias is a very awesome headset, out of the 7 or so people I've recommended it to who bought it all love it.

You aren't even talking about the headset i was, therefore, your argument is totally void. I OWN a carcharias, and have had a years worth of experience with this thing, and with CONSTANT abuse(every other headset i've ever had before this has never lasted me more than 6-8 months), the only thing i've managed to do is have the right ear cup stop working, absolutely no visible physical damage, even after taking it apart. This is after constant dropping instead of lightly placing it down(go ahead and call me an idiot for doing this, i know, it's just habit :\). The carcharias has great build quality, and to say it doesn't is idiotic.

Also, yes, you were trolling, you said all razer products were shit, which is incredibly untrue(especially when it comes to mice), keyboard wise, not sure, headsets wise, this is a great headset.

Because, you know, you aren't totally missing the point right? Obviously that one piece of information they are missing makes it a bad headset. Get over yourself, if you are an audiophile, go get something else, but for more people, such as myself, this is a great headset for dedicated gaming for a great price. I simply state the facts that people like you push away, that razer isn't complete shit when it comes to headsets, of course they aren't as good when it comes to sound quality, but THESE AREN'T FOR AUDIOPHILES!

It is the main reason for my new Headphones choice.

Well, in response to this and trakills "sigh*", had this happen to my logitech headsets pretty quickly, this didn't happen to this headset until merely a month ago, a year of constant abuse before this happens, sounds like a damn good headset to me thank you very much.
