GameMakers: Unknown Worlds (Maker of Natural-Selection) are creating a standalone game called Natural-Selection2

 

About: Natural-Selection is a RTS+FPS game. It was first released in 2002 and had millions of downloads.It features 2 teams, Alien and Marine.

The Alien team allows you to upgrade special abilities, build alien structures, and even evolve into new life forms. Such as the

Some Alien abilities include Cloaking and Focus.

Marines are different. When you play as a marine you have 1 player be the commander. The commander places down different structures and weapons for the Marines to defeat the Aliens.

As a big fan of the Alien Quadrilogy, I played this game religiously.

 

After a while, I got disinterested in it, mostly due to the fact of better games being released, including AVP2. I few weeks ago I decided to give it a try, and I found that there really weren't enough people on anymore to start playing again.

 

Hopefully, NS 2 will be as good, if not better, than the first one.

I loved the first NS, played it a lot for a while before source. I think the second version will have a lot of potential.
