My crosshair is the default size, coloured green

Protip:

cl_crosshairalpha 999 = It never hides behind other colors, it's a constant solid color. Even looking at a red object with red crosshair I can still see it.

 

Also, I think cl_crosshair 0 works in Source, it removes the crosshair. Or just use cl_crosshairalpha 0.

It makes it auto-sized, if I recall correctly on 0.

I'm pretty sure in the 4k range is where it peaks and it doesn't get smaller from there..

I think I use standard size. I used to use the smallest one, but I run it in a window, and on my new laptop the normal size works perfectly. Forget what colour

exactly bob. thats why i go no higher than 4300.

 

and yes, xeno's advice is how my crosshair never disappears
