Really?

I dunno, I don't think anyone I know would willingly be a member of a pyramid scheme.

I'd gladly be apart of a pyramid scheme if I got free shit out of it. You get free shit, they get a lot of hits. Works for everyone.

Ya, I thought what all of you guys thought on if they would really were scamming, but I checked some testimonials on youtube with the official lockerz logos and they really did receive prizes. So yeah, I already have an asus labtop and no mp3 player so should I really get the macbook or the ipod and save up for another prize :O?

checked some testimonials on youtube

>implying they aren't staff of their company.

Also, yeah, it isn't a true pyramid scheme, but actually a Matrix scheme.

Some variations do not require the victim to spend money but instead they must sign up friends and then take part in a marketing survey or trial a product such as a credit card. http://www.ipods.freepay.com is an example of such a site. In theory, the victim and their eight friends must all complete the trial to get the IPOD. In order for the first victim to get the IPOD, 64 people are signed up for the program.

As well as signing up friends, the victim may also have to

* Paying shipping on the item.

* Allow personal information to be resold to marketing companies

* Send tax information to claim the value of the prize. This contains further personal information that is resold.

* Trial a 'free' credit card, membership or subscription for 30 days. If they do not cancel it in time in exactly the correct way, they are charged for the service.

That is how Lockerz works...

Lockerz invites all members to answer a "daily", a question of the day, if you will. Likely they just collect all their data from people and sell it. Obvious, you say? Well, Lockerz requires name, age, etc. when signing up, so your response is highly marketable info to say, a fitness company who wants to sell shit people who

* live in a certian area

* are xx years old

* are of x race

That's probably how their billionaire CEO gets away with this without ruining her good name.

Anyways, good luck on getting any items! I shall not post here again :p

Yepp. That's exactly what I thought. Many websites do that, like OMGPOP. Those random questions that give you 1 coin each will give the company 5 cents for each answer. Now multiply that time the multiple millions of members on OMGPOP 24/7.

Now multiply that by the fact that questions come up endlessly one after another.

Now multiply that by the fact that there are thousands of people just sitting on the front page of OMGPOP, answering thousands of questions per hour.

Rip-off? You betcha. It's like basically you doing those non-scam surveys that actually pay you but over OMGPOP, and they're keeping 100% of the payoffs and give you some virtual hats and wands.

* Paying shipping on the item. I never had to pay shipping for my psp it was completely free.

* Allow personal information to be resold to marketing companies Never really gave any "personal" information.

I never had to do anything like that, you also don't have to invite anyone, inviting people will just help you get more points.

You gave them your name, sex, race, and location when you signed up.

I faked all of the info I gave them. I stopped using it after a few days because it would be faster (and easier) for me to get a minimum wage job and buy the stuff myself. What a waste of time.
