Keyboard and Headset

So, I'm looking to replace my keyboard and headset soon... before I go blowing hundreds of dollars though I was looking for some opinions.

Currently Have:

Razer Lycosa: meh keyboard... not really worth the money I paid for it. Its most just about aesthetics, which with this keyboard were impossible to keep looking good after almost a year of abuse. The extra functions don't work as well. Not too trusting in razer products anymore after it.

Headset: Some generic offbrand crap I got for like 20 dollars at the store once, solely, because I needed a quick replacement. Obviously as you could tell by its cost it's breaking already after only like a half of year of use. When the mic is plugged in it creates interference with the audio and some beeping sounds, as well the audio in general is somewhat deteriorated. So, the headset is probably my bigger priority out of the two.

What I'm Thinking:

Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard($99.99 USD): Pretty much has all I could ever want in a gaming keyboard, +Im a huge Wowfag so the display panel is a huge plus, as well as the extra keys.

Logitech G35 Gaming Headset($116.99 Sale/$129.00 Regular): Again, pretty much just what I think I want... Decent looks, appears to be comfortable, and has the nice little buttons.

Mostly I'm looking for people that can confirm/deny the quality of the G15 and G35, or that can tell me of better junk I could get for preferably about the same price range. My Logitech Mouse is one of the best devices I've ever bought and lasted me way too long, so I'm confident in Logitech's other products, but again I'd really appreciate someone who could tell me of their own experience with the G15/G35.

The G15 is definitely a reliable keyboard. I've had mine for about 2 1/2 years now, and its I havn't regretted spending the money for it. The extra functions can sometimes be a pain to use, but once you get it to work its worth it. The display is also useful when you use programs that actually take advantage of it like Vent, and Wow, ect. I've also rarely turn it off, the lights are usually running 24/7, and Not 1 has burnt out for 2 1/2 years which is a big plus. I strongly recommend this keyboard.

As for the G35, I've been planning on buying it to replace my broken Creative Fatal1y headset. I've pretty much looked at alot of headsets, and even bought some Razor headsets but sent them back cause I didn't like them. I havn't owned or used the G35 but it's pretty much the last headset I actually like, just my money is going else where at the moment lol.

I like my G35. Everyone says that the whole 7.1 surround sound is a gimmick but its actually quite nice. It has good sound quality and you can crack the bass and tremble up and bust some beatz.

Go read the other threads that are active right now about this exact subject...

Don't feel like sifting through 10 pounds of spam... Much much simpler to ask people if they have the models I'm looking at and can confirm their ability rather than listen to 20 people argue over whether or not Razer is a good source for gaming equipment.

I've been using my my G15 for a couple years now, love it.

As for headsets, I've gone through a few hundred dollars worth of "professional" gaming headsets, and they've never quite been good enough. I finally went with a seperate stand alone USB mic and good quality headphones, the Sennheiser HD-555. They're super f'ing comfortable and sounds wayyyyyyy better than any combination headset.

Thanks... I'll keep that in mind, though i think I'll still try the G35 just because I hate standalone mics.
