Good sound quality headphones for under 40 pounds?

I am actually getting a good quality pair of stereo headphones as a late b-day gift soon from family. Not sure what brand they are getting me but the one that is getting it for me knows his shit about tech. I will let you know when I get it. But all I heard was good things from Sennheiser.

Yeah, man. I need quality headphones because the ones I have now is old and it came with my guitar amp several years ago. Search around on Newegg for headphones and read the reviews. Newegg has always provided me with quality products at a cheaper-than-retail price.

I'll use them for reviews but as I live in england I need english stores unless newegg ship to the uk? And yea I had a creative headset but the wire snapped and I thought i'd just get some good quality headphones for the price this time.

I didn't notice the "40 pounds" part until after my post lol. I am not too sure if Newegg does international but it doesn't hurt to check. Decent headphones on the site would be around 100 dollars.

You should be like me, I can't tell difference between "good and bad" Its just headphones. I can use cheap headphones and be happy.

 

I have cheap earphones, but with headphones, the cheap ones are very uncomfortable and break easily and the sound in them dies after only a few months and the quality is bad.

 

I need some good headphones because i'll be using them everyday for my computer, tv and mp3 player so cheap ones are not an option.

I can actually hear a difference between $10 headphones and $100 ones. I think it is better to pay for a decent quality pair from a well known brand so it will last you a few years instead of paying for cheap ones that will die in a month. In the end, you probably end up paying less for a better built headphones than constantly buying cheap ones when they break.
