I tried deleting my maps folder and that didn't work. I tried uninstalling steam and reinstalling CSS and that didn't work. I have no clue where to go from here. Also, I tried typing sv_allowdownload 1 in console and THAT DIDNT WORK :'( HELP PL0X Link to comment

EvilShadow98 Posted July 5, 2010 Content Count: 1157 Joined: 01/06/10 Status: Offline Share Posted July 5, 2010 This might sound strange, but this happened to me a few months ago and I found out that it was actually Internet Explorer's network setting set to proxy instead of automatically detecting settings. After I changed it back to automatic, downloading custom mods worked again. Steam is actually highly dependent on IE when it comes to downloading. Link to comment
