STEAM ID??

I think we should put the plugin that shows the steam id of a player who joins or leaves.. will this work with the server and the update

 

This will make sure that the freekillers wont get by without a ban

Yeah, I think people could use it to crash the server with reconnecting a ton But it is a nice plugin if it could be rate limited.

the plugin is a fix for a custom lag the server and crash it exploit by overloading the leaving message with random garbage.

 

use status and gameme when the person logs in to get steam id's also we turned off playerid (the spam that says so and so joined/left steam id etc to combat the server crashing from our own plugins.

 

So I doubt that it's coming back.

Jager found one that works (so far). Give it a little bit of time for all the servers to be updated.

The one installed now does not say when they disconnect (which is, the whole reason why the plugin would be useful, in my opinion; someone all-heads aimbots in reg, freekilled in PB, etc... if they don't have a definite ID when they disconnect, it would be harder I'd think).

Like I just said, one has been found that works on connect / disconnect. Give it a bit before it is applied to all the servers.
