Android 2.2 (Froyo)

Bout a month late on this but I just flashed my Droid with 2.2... so sexy. Running Kangerade with a Droid X theme and a 1.25 OCed kernel. I even got the awesomeness of running Adobe Flash Player on mah phone. Suck it iPhone.

 

Anyone else have a rooted phone that updated to 2.2?

Been rooted to 2.2/OC'd on my droid for a while now... So news of the VZW OTA 2.2 push is meh to me.

 

But yes having flash in your phone is fuckin awesome... I can now go to addictinggames and play kitten cannon whenever I feel the need to torture and maim cats.

oh my G1 i have 3 roms installed, 1.6, 2.1 2.2. due to the G1's slow processor i enjoy the 1.6 for speed, but i use the 2.2 to show shit off.

I wasn't interested in putting froyo on early because I enjoy using HTC Sense and the widgets.

I finally got an evo like...a month ago or something like that, must say, it's an amazing phone, but i haven't updated to froyo yet mainly because i'm waiting for a way to root on official 2.2. I'm considering totally rooting(with nand unlock) my evo so i could just slap on a official 2.2 rom off of the 2.2 EVO update. I need root access mainly for the wifi tether app and for screenshot apps, other than that, i guess it would be fun throwing on roms.

Nope. Not worth it. Leaving my DX stock. 2.2 is not much different the Eclair. I'm waiting on Gingerbread!

Planning on getting a Moment in a month or so when my current contract expires... sprint's apparently got no plans to upgrade that to 2.2, tragic.
