We've all done it before, bought something that we truly didn't need and then regretted it almost instantly afterwards. It could be anything from a crappy game to random junk

to whatever! What's the most regrettable purchase you or someone you know has ever made?

This Gigabyte motherboard I got back in 07. Right off the bat I had problems. The first one I received appeared to be tampered with or something. The northbridge heatsink was half-way off and it was missing a few things. I RMA'ed it ASAP and got one that hadn't been tampered with.

 

After about a few months I started having stability problems with it. I would get random BSODs and one time it even killed my RAID I had set up. After about 9 months of dealing with that shit I finally trashed the piece of shit and got the motherboard I have now. I haven't had a single problem since. I will never ever buy a Gigabyte product again. Those two experiences were enough for me.

I could name other games from N64 days that I regretted buying also but those 2 were most recent facepalms.
