The popularity bar!?

Oke,, this might be a nub question.

 

but iam an SG member for almost a year i think and well after a long while i started looking on the forums each day. And i noticed something, everyone has a greenbar under his posts and @ some is it long and it says is over 9000 or something and some like me only have 2 blocks. I really have no clue how i can get a bigger bar xD

Does anyone know and is this bar important or just "A" thing

its your reputation bar the more people like your posts they click on the small button next to it to add reputation the more they approve the bigger you're bar all though it also works the other way

Why can’t I give negative reputation points?

 

Only CA+ can give negative reputation. The system has been abused in the past and the powers that be have decided that this is the best course of action to take.
