On the fourm , any signature, avatar or album stuff I upload, comes out with such an horrible quality. For example, look at my current avatar. This is how it should look like : http://a.imageshack.us/img69/4201/steamgamersavaturlolol.jpg .

So, am I doing something worng, need to get glasses or does the forum fail me yet again?

I have the same problem, not sure about everyone else. Tried different browsers, same problem.

edit: scrolling is extremely slow also.

edit2: this is fixed now. It wasn't images that I uploaded, all images on the forums were low quality/blurry. (Sigs, rank bars, avatars.)

Because forum software sucks. It converts each image to a gif.

 

Save your image in high-quality as a gif (good luck), and the quality should not change when uploaded onto forums.

As for signatures, use off site hosting sites.

I know that for avatars, it resizes it based on the rank permissions, and SA is 120x150 iirc, so that's possibly a reason for that. For sigs, could be the same issue.

It shouldn't be an issue for signatures unless you're sizing down JPGs. Try using PNG images for your signatures if you don't like the quality.
