you mean the grey bits on the symbols? those are just pads to dampen the sound, it's the same with the black covers on the drums.

 

Anyways, i play some piano but i'm grade 4 on drums aswell :001_smile:

Drumline 4 years going! Also do a little drumset, own a tama, but mostly love going solo on snare.
