Its one of those servers where people have to get it started for others to join. Only reason its still around is because a lot of the higher ups are reg css junkies. :p

Once all the mods started coming about, reg CSS was abandoned to oldfags and newfags started playing the mods. CSS was originally intended for regular team deathmatch. The mods were more fun and a change. I'm sorta newfagish because i got CSS in 2004, when i was 9. I never played the older CS's. When i got CSS there were already mods and shit.

Also, regular CSS is more competitive and for people who usually do tourneys for money and shit. Everything else is for fun, different experiences, screwing people up, fucking with people, not doing the objective, or just for people that suck at reg.

The only time reg has some people is when they make an event. It catches peoples eyes, and it also pisses people off.

We've never ever been able to hold a reg server. I don't see it changing in the near future either..

Maybe if we start making good reg servers, just like 24/7 servers until we start building a good reg player base, and then change it to rotation. Because most people like SG for it's mod servers right? Why not move towards some reg servers to gain population there. It's probably a dumb idea, idk.

It's a good idea, now all it needs to do is work!...And sadly that's it's downfall, just not enough people want to play reg CS:S, although i do love it myself, maby a poll to see if we have enough numbers to make a reg server work, but I don't think there is enough intrest. :sad2:
