TF2 Balloon Race Event!

Hello there! As you might know, we recently opened up a NEW TF2 SERVER!

It runs balloon race maps, which are very fun.





 

 

The goal:

To get to the checkpoints before the other team, and to finish first!

Race to the sky!

 

A server where each team has a balloon, and the first team to make it back to the starting point wins. The balloons stop at 4 CPs along the way, and do not move until one team captures the one they've stopped at. If one team captures all 4 CPs, then the other team's balloon immediately explodes. It's like a double payload game where everyone is on their team's payload, and the goal is to not have your payload explode.

So we have decided to have an event to get this server going!

 

Since the server has just opened up, we thought it would be best to get an event going right away, to let people know it's up and to get it populated!

 

 

 

 

 

It will be happening on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at the following times:

 

EST - 5PM

 

GMT (UK) - 10PM

 

CT - EST TIME - 4PM

 

MT - EST TIME - 3PM

 

GMT (Netherlands) - 11PM

 

 

Along with this, we're having a little competition.

On this page, it shows the stats of all players that have played in the server. Here's the fun part. We will be giving away $25 each to the top four players on this list. We will be judging this by time played in the server, rather than score. So the four most active players in the server by the END OF THE WEEK will win $25 each!

Well, at this point it's balloon race, and I believe it will stay that way in the foreseeable future, but you never know.

Is this the only TF2 server that we're going to have?

 

Balloon race is ok....maybe it's because it was on css when I played it that it seemed stupid.

 

That aside, I'd like a warpath server anyway
