We need warning shots back again. PB is too retarded without them.

aside from that thats the only real rule change that drastically affected game play. :\

 

there are people like focus/ex-calibre/neutron who abuse the no warning shots rule. No one wants to play T unless its a pro-rebeller team as well as the CT team filling up before the T team.

 

The server *is* called 'mutiny', surely that should be some indication of playstyle

With warning-shots = Ts win every round.

Without them = CTs have an actual chance of winning.

 

Your T team just needs to get good.

Jen why cant we change the rule about deathgames its more fun! second .. can someone fix the

!Rules or !Motd in-game its usefull for new players and sometime u just need to take a look if someone is not following the rules correctly so u can warn them and tell them where they can read it !

 

Hope u can change it its not an order (ofcourse) its an suggestion .. thx for reading!

Actually i think this is improved. Although, I do miss warning shots in some cases.

For me this allouds me to go rambo style. I have once chance and that's what i like about this.

I will be working on a script that assigns a random person on the CT team Warden for, read carefully now, THE FIRST 2 MINUTES OF THE ROUND. Me and Jen both agree that this would cut down on the early QQ about who said what. If you don't like it GTFO

 

What is your problem that you have to make out that your opinion is the only option?

 

I don't like the idea of this script, I think it will add needless confusion/round delay. If a ct is assigned warden and does nothing, do ts have to sit in cells for 2 minutes before something happens?

 

Having the script say any cts may give rules after 2 minutes will lead to confusion as well.

 

I think this script would cause more issues than its worth, can't we just have first ct to issue rules is warden, and mic rules take precedence over text rules? Would be much more simpler.

These rules are subject to change:

 

- CT's must give and explain reasonable rules.

- CT's are not allowed to kill prisoners unless they are not complying with the rules given.

- CT's must warn T's who have holstered pistols.

- CT's are not allowed to plant guns on prisoners, no exceptions.

- CT's can kill T's who are in vents without being warned.

- CT's cannot enforce the same rules round after round.

- CT's are not required to give Last Request.

- Respect admins and other players or get banned!!!!

- No spamming of any kind (voice or chat).

- No racism of any kind will be tolerated (including racist names/sprays).

- No advertising other servers or clans and do not evade mute by rejoining.

- Admins can deem any spray they think unfit bannable from the server.

-Warning shots must be given when a pistol is holstered.

- Killing AFKs is no longer at admins discretion. If a CT gives you an order and your AFK but do not follow then the CT is abliged to kill you.

 

Can anyone point out where in the old rules it states warning shots are how everyone believed them to be? Even if the rules revert to this, the warning shot rule will be exactly as it is now and has always been...

Sorry, a little late on this.

 

Warden - Bad idea. Not everyone who goes CT wants to give orders, in fact most of them just want to enforce what one says. I personally don't like giving commands but I will if the team is seriously lacking in that department.

 

Mic over text - I have complained about this many times in game. In my opinion, if you don't have a mic, then STFU. I'm trying to watch what's going on, not what you are typing. You shouldn't be giving commands at all if you don't have a microphone. Also, people using binds to give out commands should be outlawed.

 

My fix for giving commands - I personally think we should increase the freeze time before rounds and have a script that mutes Terrorists for the first 30 seconds or so. The muting of terrorists is obvious so that they can't interfere with giving orders. The freeze time is so that CT's can work shit out without some random jackass just running over and opening the cells.

 

Also, the game is called PRISON BREAK. If you are a terrorist and you are sitting there following order after order waiting for last request or just hoping to live, I have no sympathy if you get shot on accident for following orders. The game is about T's trying to take over the prison, not sitting there like a pussy.

 

The poll disappointed me because there is "Needs moar maps" but not "needs less and more quality maps".

I always say that cts have to warning shot for non violent rebeling :/

I'm going to try and clear this up in a single post.

 

Warning shots should be issued if a terrorist is taking part in indirect rebellion. Indirect rebellion includes things such as knifing the vent, detouring and/or delaying, etc. These are acts of rebellion that do not immediately affect the Cts in terms of their safety.

 

If someone starts bitching that they have been freeshot and they are going to heal, they DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION just because they say so. If they really need to heal then their only option is to ask the Cts and hope that they allow them.

 

If you notice a terrorist carrying a pistol or grenade, you have to warn them and tell them to drop it. If they do not drop it, you shoot them once (preferrably not with an AWP). If they still continue to disobey you, you have the right to kill them. Since grenades cannot be dropped, just tell them to throw it in the opposite direction to you and your teammates.

 

Cts do NOT need to issue warning shots if their safety is in question through an act of direct rebellion. Direct rebellion includes knifing Cts, carrying a primary weapon (usually a rifle), pointing guns at Cts or disobeying an order which has been set in place in order to protect a CT.

 

For example, if a guard becomes cornered and the terrorists begin to crowd around him, that guard can give the order to disperse or stay at a set distance. If the terrorists remain in the same position or continue moving forward, Cts are allowed to kill them without warning. Now, this doesn't give you permission to mow them all down by emptying your clip. The best course of action is to kill the closest terrorist, and hopefully the others should back down and get to where they are supposed to be.

 

Also, just a note: DO NOT RUN INTO A GROUP OF TERRORISTS, TELL THEM TO STAY BACK, AND THEN SHOOT ANYONE WHO GETS CLOSE. YOU WILL BE PUNISHED.

 

Be aware that this doesn't always work and you will have to have your wits about you, as killing a terrorist can cause the rest of them to rush you.

 

I hope I have set a clear line where warning shots are required, and where they are not.

 

Generally, i play if there is no threat of a rebellion/ my safety, i'll keep giving a warning shot to a t (leg shots) who is breaking/disregarding rules, till he either runs out of hp or starts to head where they are supposed to

 

When they're escaping, no warning shots, when they aren't doing what they're told, warning shots.

 

Not hard to understand.
