Awesome, you aren't using an evo are you? I will hopefully getting mine sometime within the next 30 days. I hear 4G fluctuates a lot, but never really goes lower than 3 mb/s, and can go up to 10 if you have a really clear connection. Highest I've seen from speedtests was 8 though.

No, unless your router is shit or the connection to the router is shit.

 

If you aren't using a router (aka your main computer is a DMZ host), then you're being really silly. NAT protects you a lot, and if you use no router you have no NAT.
