I do appreciate that these are all (mostly) serious artists and songs....I guess it's mostly the language (or at least accent) barrier.......but whilst it's maybe a bit ignorant I can't get over laughing when I hear the songs.....

 

I wouldn't say pop is beyond my taste.....I'm into pop I guess but not into corny stuff.....I think quite a lot of these do feel a bit too corny/amateur/weird etc...as in not Western pop......although I guess that's kind of the point.
