I just got photoshop

and i i got adobe illustrator both cs5 for free but anyways i was looking for some help i want to buy a book that will teach me the basics of photoshop and maybe so intermediate stuff because i want to get good with it but i need the right book. just starting out not knowing anything about it!

the best thing to learn about everything is to do sig tutorials and wallpaper tutorial which you can find on google very easily, thats how i got to know a lot about PS

photo manipulation is good cause u get to know what the tools do and play with the filters

So just search them on google or deviantart ^_^

This is where I learn my stuff. There tutorials are good. They look hard , but in them you find a lot of basics.

You can google for good stuff to teach you basics and advance things as well as check out the links posted. I wouldnt suggest buying shit to help you unless you cant find what you want to learn on the internet first which would be a rare issue.
