You might have to replace the mobo. If im wrong then..youd be in decent shape.. if you go amd youd buy something like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103727 which is AMD3 Link to comment

Took the case cause its fucking sexy, mobo cause didn't wanna spend $140 for one with integrated gfx. PSU cause I heard XFX psu's = Seasonic and both are awesome, oh it's modular. GPU is pro, might wanna spend more or less depeing on if you wanna sli. Ram changed easily to run at 1600 mhz in bios. Edited September 12, 2010 by Zealot Link to comment

u egg Posted September 12, 2010 Content Count: 393 Joined: 05/14/08 Status: Offline Share Posted September 12, 2010 I'd buy Phenom ii x4 955 BE instead of 965. It's cheaper and you'll get the same performance as a 965 both overclocked (Max 4 ghz o/c on 965 and max 3.8/4.0 ghz with 955 as I heard). Also ddr2 for the ram ? Why don't you buy ddr3 ? Doesn't sdram stand for laptop (not sure about that) ? For the graphic card... it all depends of what you want to do with that computer... If you want to play a lot, forget the 5670 and buy at least a 5750/5770. Link to comment
