I do like their early work, but quite honestly I hate the new AX7 album, and I feel that most of their stuff is aimed at middle schoolers.

Hey, when they were playing metalcore and M. Shadows was growling, shit was good. And Bat Country has its gems, but beyond that Nightmare was a total sell out into the "Pop metal" genre IMO.

in my opinion they were better when The Rev was alive and I love the new album I know it has a different style but still great

This and except that I really don't like their stuff that much in general. I got their album new album just to hear what the fuck the hype was and I was embarrassed for Mike Portnoy.
