Alucard Posted September 22, 2010 Content Count: 651 Joined: 05/19/09 Status: Offline Share Posted September 22, 2010 I currently own a NVIDIA Ge-Force 9300 Ge and it appears to be giving me problems. I keep getting BSOD every time I Play Css and it starting to piss me off. To me it seems that my graphics card isn’t made for gaming (so I have heard) and actually I have had that Graphics card for quite some time now.So I looking for another graphics card that could support games (Css,COD,ect). Any suggestions? Budget: $100-$400 Link to comment

Even the budget cards aren't that great anymore. If your really have a budget range of up to $400, you can get the 5850, which is several notches above the GTS250 and 5770, and yet will not break your wallet at only around $250-ish. However, if you are going to go with ATI, wait for the 6000 series to come out. It'll drop the price of any 5000 series card by quite a bit. Also, you're telling us that playing games causes a BSOD. That could also be the result of other hardware, such as your PSU. Give us some more details as to when you BSOD. Link to comment

There are a lot of ideas... $100 - $400 is a huge range. You can get something from a 4670 to basically a 5870, or 9800GT to a GTS470 with that budget. Tell us your needs, and narrow down your budget a little bit. And also, upgrade your PSU, that's whats most likely causing your BSOD 1 Edited September 22, 2010 by Toxin Link to comment
