Due to the recent stepping downs due to real life issues, the online issues are still rolling in, this means more work for the remaining us...

 

Firstly I'd like to announce the first promotion, the new Vice President Jager..

 

Jager has been a long member of SteamGamers, and for a while a BD, he is one of our most technical staff members, who deals with the general back-end of the website, all the maintenance, and other tasks assigned by me.

 

As VP, he'll be doing the same stuff! But will have a little more say in stuff.... ( If I'm not here, make major (un-important) decisions! and other general tasks!

 

The next promotion, is Spartan to the Board Of Directors.. Spartan is another technical person in the ranks, he has single handily built the GMOD servers and done a great job... He has always been willing to help with the community, and I feel him being a BD will bring a great assist to the BD team.. his new role will include ;

 

• Support/Build/Fix Servers
  
• Approve Admin applications
  
• Set up New Admin access
  
• Manage Plugins/Server scripts
  
• Issue admin warnings/punishments
  
• Keep the community updated of any changes
  
• Handle all Admin disputes
  
• Plan for growth (website/servers)
  
• Support Forum/plugins/logos
  
• Support Ventrilo Channels/Admins
  
• Grant access rights to Ventrilo
  
• Research new mods/server ideas
  
• Issue perm bans to players
  
• Promote/Demote server admins
  
• Manage all public relations/marketing/tournaments
  
• Be a role model to all admins/setting by example
  
• Manage payment collections/pay the bills
  
• Manage AO staffing and responsibilities
  

... anything else that needs to be done

 

The next promotion is for Marketing Administrator this has been given to Ngo he has shown that he is more than capable of dealing with marketing, and helping me improve the current & future SG. His duties will include;

 

• Manage the EC's, discuss ideas, and server events, etc.
  
• Manage all 3rd party sites/applications.
  
• Manage all advertising.
  
• Recommend upgrades, and general marketing aspects for the community.
  
• Research what the community like/not
  
• Give ideas to the BD's to discuss.
  
• Assist GarfieldH on Community marketing.
  
• Upkeep the image of SG, and help expand.
  

 

I'd like to say a big thank you to the AM (Highsky), all the AO's, who are doing a great job on the servers/community.. the AA! all the TA's, and the CA's...

 

Also a thanks to the SA's for the continued administrating of the servers. (I'm sure I've forgot some ranks! sorry!!)

 

A big thanks to all our players also

 

For now, this is the first bunch of promotions, I may promote more people if needed.

 

I'd just like to say, with all the recent step downs (due to real life) SG is approaching a new fresh start, a new image, a cleaner, more modern SG... this is just what we need.. and all for the better
