This is what I have. Case HDD Monitor GPU Optical Drive PSU RAM Mobo CPU CPU Cooler SSD So the grand total is: $1,500.40.. but if he wants to deal with the rebates it'll be $1460.40 Pretty sure this will work... What do you think? Edited September 29, 2010 by Labarr Link to comment

trakaill Posted September 30, 2010 Content Count: 3736 Joined: 11/30/07 Status: Offline Share Posted September 30, 2010 That Hdd is great .. as good as the caviar black but if I remember on the bench the CB might pull ahead but really unnoticeable to the average user I personally have a 23 inch monitor and Id hate to have something bigger my eyes can barely cover this one.. The i5 is nice on a moderate budget I think its great.. Cant say which ssd is best as I havent read much about them.. I think you have an awesome build... the only thing id do is cash out another 40 bucks for a modular PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139010&cm_re=corsair_power_supply-_-17-139-010-_-Product You wont regret it I promise..or he wont but your building I guess.. And Id spend the 10 bucks for the 902 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129058&Tpk=ANTEC%20902 I like it way more.. But your call Have fun!! Link to comment
