Should I of bought it?

Yesterday I bought a Mac ProBook for £1800. I will get it by tomorrow. It's the 15" i7 Cord. Do you think it's worth it!? I'm getting in to developing applications at the moment, and a few other projects. It will also become my main computer. I'm excited to get it

LOL, MacBoy. Macbooks are gay, it's bullshit that they dont have viruses, when you play CS:S, how are you gonna scope on that 1 button mouse LOL!! Just sayin, imo it's not worth the money. It's better to get a good PC.

All depends on your uses. In my opinion that money should have been used to buy a MUCH better computer that doesn't have "The Apple Tax" on it.

Mac for casual users and certain better applications (I luvs Garage Band), PC for work and serious gaming.

If you are using it for development and imaging projects its a great buy. I would kill for a mac for school right now... but if your going to use it for gaming i would have spent the money on a amazing PC. Thats just me tho..

Newer Macs have 2 button mouses now...

 

Anyways, for what you're using it for, Garf, Macs are not bad. I loved using them all the time in my graphic designing class and when I go to Best Buy.

but its not a bad pc. and potshot you can run osx on your pc as well just buy the disc and go nuts... (if you want to use osx)

I had a MBP at work and loved having the triboot OSX/Linux/Windows setup. Astrum has the same setup now.

I'm guessing you'll keep your current desktop for gaming and everything else? OSX does come with good programs and you could just install the non Mac programs on your PC.

 

Also, wtf at Neji's post. Garf said nothing about playing CSS on his laptop.
