and I mean it this time! I was asking around in April but came into money issues....but now I've easily got enough to buy a quality pc that will last......and my current pc is killing me so I'm desperate for a new one.

I've got lots of friends who can help me build one so it doesn't have to be pre-built....and I probably won't be needing Windows 7 included (because I can just get it for free and save money.......)...my friends might know all of this...but mostly I'm just looking to get as many educated opinions as I can.......there's some things that I need help on as I'm not a hardware pro......

Also I'm looking to spend £600 TOPS...I don't need a monitor my current one is fine. Also I don't know how much I'd save but I don't even fill the 320gb hard drive I have right now so no point in wasting lots on some 2TB one.....a 500GB one would be fine (although if a 1TB doesn't cost much more I guess I should just get that)

-What site/s or store/s in the UK are the best (and cheapest) (or I guess abroad if they ship free/cheap.....)?

-AMD or Intel?

-Anyone want to suggest a good build :embarrest:?

As a side.....I might buy some new speakers so.......any suggestions on a some good ones available now? (please nothing too expensive....)

Thanks!

have a look at that, i can skim the price down about £70 but they are the best components for ur budget

This seems like a lot......

I bought a prebuilt pc with a screen for like £500 tops years ago and that's lasted 4-5 years....I can't believe that I need to spend £700.....

Dude the new intel architecture has awesome cooling properties.. especially the i3. Loose that cooler its useless stock!!

The rest is kick ass for a budget build but at that range id go amd might get better bang for the buck!

My 2.5 cent GL!

If you really want a budget build, you shouldn't get Intel+NVIDIA... get AMD+ATI if you're on a budget. Not trolling or being a fanboy; AMD+ATI is just a lot cheaper.

If you have time, you should wait a few weeks for the AMD Radeon 6000 series GPUs to come out; this SHOULD make the 5000 series (which are still very nice cards) drop a lot in price.

under budget now, i changed the cooler and graphics card, picked the wrong ones, the 460 is alot better that the 465 and the cooler makes it under budget. still a good cooler though.

if you dont like that build i can still make it £100 cheaper

as for speakers
