Can my pc run Black Ops?

(If this is the wrong section to post this then im sorry D:)

 

Im thinking of buying the new Black Ops for pc but im unsure if i can run it ):

I took a test and it said everything passed the minimum requirements except my CPU ):

 

Here are my specs-

 

CPU - Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU E6550 @ 2.33GHz

RAM - 2gb

OS - Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic Edition Service Pack 2 64-bit

Video Card - GeForce 8800 GTS 512

Free Disk Space - 69.2 GB

I already used that and it said my CPU didnt make it above minimum but one of my mates told me i could still be able to run it.

Since i have no idea if he is telling the true or not, i posted here to make sure before i waste 60 euro on something i cant use >_

yeah you can run it. you will not be able to max it but you can run it alright. keep in mind that its the same engine as cod4 and when that came out your gpu was new stuff. plus if it runs on a 360 it will run better on a GeForce 8 series or higher. (most of the time)

 

btw dude get more ram!

Its not completely accurate... but it does get most of it together. Aim for recommended, but if above minimum it works.. There is still a chance though if it is under minimum... but paying for the game isnt worth it with the gameplay you will end up getting... (slow, laggy, sound skipping, etc..)

 

 

EDIT: Get RAM....it makes life easier!

Yes, ur specs are higher than mine and CoD4 ran at highest settings fine on my laptop.

 

BO uses the same engine.
