With 1GB of RAM your computer sucks!! You need to get another 1GB. With just XP and CSS running you memory is caped. It wont increase your FPS per se but your comp would run smoother. And norton sucks period... they guys that said they are all good meant other than norton. Its a memory hog and Im sure your comp runs better now! AVG MSE Antivira are all nice free little software that just do their jobs. I dont even have an anti virus on my laptop. You really shouldnt need one unless you watch some really raunchy porn or download very illegal things. All the free sites we once mentioned in a thread were all safe. Ask Neji!! Oh and your task manager Screen shot looks great! 52 process is impressively low!! Unless you get a better CPU and GPU the only way youll increase FPS it to play with config and settings. I was getting better FPS than you with my GTS8600 but that was before the major update.. Link to comment

This is a pretty good one from an old sticky in the FPS section of the forums. It also has some useful launch options too. Link to comment

Has no lag on computer (even with updates), and it's #1 Anti-virus so far. I have 2 things to say. 1) Nod32 is not free, unless downloaded illegally. 2) Kaspersky is as great as Nod32. I have done research and to make myself even more sure, I use both of them. Kaspersky on my main PC and Nod32 on my laptop. Both are doing a great job, none has shown me they are better than the other ;P Link to comment
