Suggested 3 reasons as to why the server has died in popularity. (reply if im wrong)

1. School has started, I remember during summer I had to do the line to get in PB server.

 

2. Some maps were really bad and some others like Lego needed to be updated (ver 6 is out and we're at 4)

 

And that's pretty much it...

I can't complain about the community since I had alot of fun playing the server this summer, hope it will be the same during christmas' vacation.

I don't know what the Jihad mod is and I'm too lazy to search it on google

why don't you just close it for a few days, pimp it , then reopen with 1 or 2 events.

That could get 1 or 2 weeks of players

and @ karnivor: CS:S is still consistently top game in steam on the stats page. There is a constant swing of counter strike to counter strike:source and since there are about 80,000 people playing counter strike(original); when they finally come to cs:s then the game will be 'revived'.

Hola i havn't played in a while.. Senior year and trying to grad. anyways before pb died as many remeber i would always be in there pissing of players cause i seemed to be everywhere when they broke the rules. What i observed is that pb turned into a solo game for the cts as they wpuld run off and it would end up cts losing badly. But sometimes as i also saw is that when they did work together the cts literally trapped t,s in a box and just watched them rot till it was a round draw.that made it hella boring.... And its true all the fun people

Moved on. Now i wish i was still admin because im ready to play pb again. And i would probably be there for hours watching any occurences.

Also there's a lot more blame to go around than just school, etc. Admins play a huge role in making sure players stay. Try to start up the server to get players in and a freekiller walks in and freekills a few rounds and people leave. It's up to admins to do something about it, and this kind of attitude isn't helping. If admins feel this way about it just close it because there's no use for us to whine and complain to people who just can't give a fuck anymore about something they were hired to do in the first place. Starting to feel like SA is just a title, not a position.

You should be thankful admins even go into PB lol

Ok I know what you're saying but you should also consider the idea that admins are people

as well, the want to have fun mostly.

They do try blah blah blah...... but I don't think many people would dedicate too much time to watching a server with a fluctuating population
