It is very poor with heat, but seem to do better when you spank the fan up, and then its loud. If the GTX 460 is out of your price range, id recommend you go outside of your comfort zone and buy ATI. Supposedly, DirectX11 support is something to get, and the gtx 200 series doesnt have DX11 support. My vote is, either buy a Radeon 5770 or the GTX 460. At that point, just go based on price. Youll get a little less performance with the 5770, but then again its priced less. But, i'd pick from one of those two. -ALSO-: make sure you look into how fast your processor is. If your processor is too slow, you might end buying too much GPU, and wasting the extra power. Link to comment
