Most of you know that my system has been fucked for some time and I have narrowed it down to PSU, CPU or MOBO but have not really had the money to fix it so here is a fun tech project for everyone.

Find me the best combo of all four of these components to rebuild my computer for under $350.00. The ultimate goal is to stay under $350 but have the best/reliable components that $350 can buy (USA online stores only). The 4 components I need are listed below.

List your results as follows:

MOBO - $$ - Link to site

PSU - $$ - Link to site

CPU - $$ - Link to site

RAM - $$ - Link to site

Total $$

Optional: reasoning for selections.

PS: Anyone looking to buy me a Christmas gift give me a holla.

Some of this is black friday stuff.

CPU/Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.543250

50 + 50 + 147 = $247

Ram is fast, effective and SUPER cheap atm. Don't need more than 4gbs for most things anyway. Corsair PSU's are one of the most reliable on the market with great efficiency in power consumption. AMD has the cheapest CPUs that are not to bad compared to some intel ones. Quad core @ 3.0 ghz is amazing at that voltage so it won't run hot and it'll probably overclock well.

Intel (would've been $50 over budget)

RAM: ^

PSU: ^

CPU: (sold out i5-750 for

Mobo does not support the RAM you selected but would be a few bucks cheaper with 800 or 1066 RAM.

Nice collections. With that motherboard I could re-use my 4GB PC800 and fix my shit up for under $200.00.

For that price range I would go with AMD, I'll edit this post in a sec with some parts.

Mobo

CPU

You will need to buy your own heat sink and fan, I would recommend something like;

Though it's not the best under gaming performance.

Ram

PSU

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171031

Total - $221.96
