Okay plain and simple. I'm going to treat myself a bit for Christmas. I'm getting a camera and a nice set of speakers.

Camera-

I don't care just has to be below $300 and be as good as possible for the price.

Speakers-

Same price point as camera. Don't care about the setup, just want the best sound quality for the price. Would like it to have an optical sound cable thingy for my TV and want it to be able to plug into my phone.

Thanks guys.

P.S. If at all possible, I would like it from Best Buy because one of my buddies works there and will get me a discount.

Probs can't get much better than this:

For 49 bucks? With decent reviews. And 10 MP is pretty good. 12 is about average for a good camera at this point, and anything more usually jumps price fairly rapidly. 10 is still pretty good and you wouldn't notice a huge difference between 10 and 12, and 12 would run you 100+.

Edit: You could always roll this http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Canon+-+EOS-1Ds+Mark+III+21.1-Megapixel+Digital+SLR+Camera+-+Black/8794762.p?skuId=8794762&id=1205537713788#tabbed-customerreviews

lol.

That was my next choice. :d

Well I really want something a little on the higher end (of

Thanks though Bob. C:

Yeah it's just for your money, you can't do better. Honestly, if you noticed a difference between 10 and 14 MP (14 MP would be my guess at what would be around the 300 dollar mark, maybe a little higher not sure). It probably wouldn't be significant. Honestly my 3.2 MP phone takes pretty good pictures, and at 5-7 MP they start looking really crisp... I really see no reason to go above 10, if 10 MP is cheap. Might as well save the dollas and buy me something :)

Well I have the HTC Evo and even though it is 8MP, when blown up on my computer screen, they get fuzzy.

The main reason for the camera is to take pictures of my car because I'm active on a Grand Prix forum and they always bitch about my shitty pictures lul. My phone just doesn't do my sexyazz car justice. :d

And well...I was thinking about giving you the rest. Here take my American moniez.

You did train me....

for the speakers go for Boston Acoustics
