Alright, I have a demo and I'm trying to capture one part of it (with 1 person talking) and I can't seem to mute other people talking over him. Is there any way to do this?

I heard of Half-Life After Effects but I hear it can get you vac banned, and I doubt it's been updated in awhile.

As far as I know, the demo is basically just a recording of what they saw. And there's no way to interact with it aside from basic editing techniques (treat it as a video and nothing else, because from what I know, that is, and all it is)..

Have you tried opening 'player list' in the menu whilst in game and muting individual players? Because I have tried it once or twice and it seems to work, but it can be buggy at times :/

Sorry, this is only meant for future reference, i'm not sure how to edit sound in recorded demos.

Yea, I've tried that too- didn't work.

Thanks anyways.
