If you like autotuned bullshit and call it rap, go for it. If you like listening to stuff that makes you want to bludgeon someone to death or fill their skull with bullets in a nice match of Dust_2, by all means, enjoy yourself. Link to comment
Bad Dog Posted December 27, 2010 Content Count: 3380 Joined: 02/07/09 Status: Offline Share Posted December 27, 2010 How is this guy good? He's just doing stupid screaming in different ways. You want a better singer? Even Justin Bieber is better Sorry, but as soon as you use auto tone, your not even in the race anymore. Michael Jackson and Freddy Mercury could sing circles around that guy. Freddy Mercury was great, but his and Christian Alvestams singing styles/the genres they are singing are worlds apart. I really doubt Freddy Mercury could sing Melodic Death Metal. Link to comment

You want a better singer? Even Justin Bieber is better Nickleback? -.- the accent is too strong. Lol. You need to listen to him. Does he scream? Yes, he CAN but his SINGING voice is one of the best in the world (rangewise). You probably only listened to this song. GREAT example of how versatile his voice is. Listen up to at least 0:45 and you'll realize what you said was 100% wrong lol. SV9o3FTpAf0 One of pretty much pure singing and little to no screaming: GKnyvtzMRRA Another song that shows a HUGE vocal range from high singing to low growls: uzgRIOrJxmQ You may not like his singing style but to say he isn't a phenomenal singer in his own respect is, simply put, wrong. Michael Jackson is a good singer, don't get me wrong, but in vocal diversity/range he doesn't compare. Freddy Mercury is a very good singer and I would agree, he's comparable (in a totally different genre) to Christian Alvestam. Link to comment

When the guy actually does sing though... it's not bad. He isn't great by any means. But he's not bad. I could careless if he can go from yelling/screaming and then also be able to singing. In my opinion it's a waste of a good voice if anything. Link to comment

Singing, defined by the dictionary, is producing musical tones by means of voice. So it could be Freddy Mercury belting out "Seas of Rhye" or it could be Nathan fucking Explosion growling through "Thunderhorse", the point is they are making musical noises with their food holes, which is singing. Dude that whole song is phenomenal. ESPECIALLY when it comes to working out. Wow it's epic for working out because of how hard and steady a beat it is. This is probably my favourite or one of them from these guys: 4WAwU4uduCE Link to comment
