With the new steam update (well, new 3 months ago), how can I set a clan tag without it being in my actual profile name?

steam->edit profile->change primary group

 

i think thats how i change it

Uhm. Primary group doesn't necessarily correspond to clan tag. I believe it's Options > Multiplayer > Advanced then the third option is Clan Tag. If you aren't already in the group let me know and I'll invite you.

Yup, joined the group earlier then toggled the tag through the multiplayer options you detailed. Thanks for the assist
