Well i would not mind saving up lil by lil and getting something really nice. But there is a game coming out next month that i have to play, and i need to build the new Rig to play it:)

Here is what i got right now. The PS is in the mail. And now i am just waiting on buying the Video Card. I have 70 bucks right now, so just waiting till next payday to order it. Compusa had crap for cards.

Ok.. so I'm in the market to replace my abused system (currently has 5 distended capacitors: but somehow keeps running)

 

I already have a dual layer DVD burner and 500 GB sata hd as well as a friend hooked me up with some free DDR 2 RAM..

 

OCZ Gold 4GB(2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit

 

If I have about $700 - $900 to spend and want to get the most bang for the buck..

 

What would you recommend for the following.

Without the monitor it's 850, and since you already have some free components, you could go for an uber graphics card in place of the 8800gt that we bought.
