Headset problem:

I got the Tritton AX PRO for Christmas for my ps3( my dad hates pc's and therefore gave me the choice between overpriced shit or a ps3)... so everything works great with the headset except the microphone... it just doesnt work. I have sent an e-mail about it to Tritton and still havent gotn any answers, and im not retarded so i actually did go through the very little instruction manual about 10 times and all the settings are right, mic is on, the volume is up on the mic and all those other details the instruction manual included... I think the mic is just broken, but if anybody knows anything that might help it would be appreciated.

had same problem what age did you put on the ps3 account u have?? u have to be 17 or 18 i think to be able to use a mic unless you put your fake birthday

Im pretty sure i faked my birthday cuz its a master account and you need to be like 16 or something to get a masters account. But the mic doesnt work at all and i tried it online on black ops and on the mic test you can do on accessory settings. And parental controll as all that shit is off. Also when the mic is turned on an the sound is turned up, even if the mic is put on the headset or not all im hearing is not so loud buzzing sound. If there is any info you wanna know just ask cuz im pretty much a noob when it comes to headsets.

Yea i got it for ps3... i also got a link on Tritton.com cuz i mailed them and it automatically comes up no their website... im waiting for answers and i have waited since like 2am on the 25th...im waiting for a answer but since it has taken so long i wanted to ask for help here too.
