When I enter a game (i.e., CSS), I can no longer speak to users in Vent. How can I change this so that I can talk to everyone? Link to comment

Go to Setup on the right hand side of vent, then go to the place where it says "Hotkey." Then click on it and type in any key, once you do that you click apply, then when you're in-game, all you need to do it hit that key to talk to people in vent and then the other key you have set up in CS:S to talk to people on the server. When I try talking ingame with a key, no one hears me in Vent but everyone can hear me in game. Any other ideas? Link to comment

Although I would think it should go through both (and be extremely annoying). Set it to a different key. Like "Space" is talk in game, and Left Alt is talk on vent or something should work. I think that's what mine is/was. Link to comment
