Faileron Posted December 31, 2010 Content Count: 65 Joined: 06/05/10 Status: Offline Share Posted December 31, 2010 (I am unsure if it goes here or in tech talk so please move as appropriate) well, for xmas i got black ops and was having trouble with lag. I half got it sorted and started enjoying playing, however a new trouble popped up. While playing my screen would go black with all the lights still on (on a laptop where the wireless icon would stay blue and mute and volume remain the same). Then the wireless button would go off and then my computer would shut off. After pushing the start button the computer would turn back on and load up to where i previously was in the game, this has now spread and happens with whatever game I play (mainly Gmod and Black ops atm). My questions is does any1 know what could be causing this problem (it only started when i installed black ops so i uninstalled it for now)? Link to comment

I would move it for you but there is a template they like to follow so... ;) Just re-make the thread there, they will probably be able to help you a little better. If it only happens when a game starts to run I would say it likely isn't the battery though. Link to comment
