From whhat I sewer it isn't compatible.. it doesn't support shaded 3.(only shader 2)... so it won't work. Would have to upgrade

Yes, your card is below minimum requirements for the game. You should really consider upgrading, doesn't have to be fancy or anything but you'll probably encounter more disappointment buying games if you don't.

Not only upgrading for this game, but in the future, games you intend to buy will requires same req's - if not higher - so it is probably recommended to upgrade for sure.

its a dell pentium 4 cpu 2.40ghz,2.40ghz,1.00 gb of ram.and the card is a ati 9550.lol,bought just for cs:s,works great for that.

Holy... Dude, even with a GPU that supports shader 3.0 1GB of ram is not going to run that game. I would seriously recommend getting a new computer... And your CPU is ancient.
