She's one of the few 'good' pop-star role models out there... she doesn't sleep around with guys, she doesn't smoke on her 18th birthday *coughmiley, and so on and so forth. You realize she was smoking salvia, which for her was 100% legal, right? What the hell is wrong with that? And as far as favorite pop stars go, Lady GaGa beats all of those prostitutes that producers use to burn a profit. Seriously, Katy Perry is only famous for her chest, she makes almost none of her music, though I think she writes SOME of her lyrics.
