I have decided to try to combat this by taking a screenshot of my desktop, inverting the colors and then having this negative image run as my screensaver for a week or two. Does anyone know if it will work or have any reason why I should not do this. (if It will screw it over more please tell me) Link to comment https://forums.steam-gamers.net/topic/38724-a-way-to-fix-crt-burn-in/

Lots of people recycle working ones all the time. Or you could buy an LCD screen, they get cheaper every day! I don't know if it will be easy or even possible to reverse burn in.
