I find it concerning this book is being taught in English classes, when it really is political philosophy, and rather Utopian philosophy at that. Link to comment
Itch Posted January 26, 2011 Content Count: 3440 Joined: 12/12/07 Status: Offline Share Posted January 26, 2011 The list would be a few miles long.. A few favorites. The Art of War - SunTzu Swan Song They Thirst and a few others - Robert McCammon Ender's Game - Orson Scott Card Wheel of Time series - Robert Jordan/Brandon Sanderson Beyond Good and Evil - Nietzsche World War Z - Max Brooks German Brother's in a foreign Land - Itch/co-author (good luck finding a copy of this one) And of course ... The Gentleman's guide to the golden age of blowjobs! For those that aren't familiar with the Project Gutenberg you ought to check it out.. it's designed to make as many classical works available in e-format for free as they can (currently over 33,000 books). Stanza and a few other smartphone apps tap into it, making it really easy to find something good to read for free. Link to comment
