If you have anything over a 400w you can use a 460 for sure. If you find my posts in tech talk I have some benchmarks/scores/temps/etc for a MSI gtx 460 1gb OC'd. In the future, when you play a game that actually pushes that video card to do something and your system peaks it is likely that you will start having problems. Oh no, I don't mean buy the bare minimum. I'm just speaking generally, when I bought my system I bought for like 250w extra. Second, look for something later or in the HD5000 series. The 5770 as listed previously is a good card for most games and is pretty damn cheap! These ATI/AMD cards also require less voltage than the GTX series, which is good if you've got a lower wattage PSU. GOOD LUCK! Jaffa Posted February 25, 2011 Content Count: 4263 Joined: 09/18/07 Status: Offline Share Posted February 25, 2011 Thanks for all the info guys My main issue now is that i spent the cash i had put aside for a new card on a trip to amsterdam, and the remainder on a trip through belgium, so purchase of a card has been deferred Link to comment https://forums.steam-gamers.net/topic/39168-looking-for-a-new-graphics-card/page/2/#findComment-522146

I'd sell you my spare GTS450 for way cheap; shipping it to the UK would be extremely pricey but good luck searching when you get the cash again! And have a blast in Amsterdam ;) Link to comment https://forums.steam-gamers.net/topic/39168-looking-for-a-new-graphics-card/page/2/#findComment-522169
