Itch Posted February 9, 2011 Content Count: 3440 Joined: 12/12/07 Status: Offline Share Posted February 9, 2011 Just today I had to correct a Mac user at work when they spewed the standard Pro-Mac rhetoric of "Mac's never crash or get hacked" This was the response I got to cutting off their connection because their Macbook had been hacked and was running Apache (they claimed not to know about) and was trying to attack other servers on the network. Mac's aren't all bad nor are they all good. If you have a specific reason for one.. Great. But don't just regurgitate the shite they spew on their commercials and act all smug about it. All OS's have their problems. Period. None of them are God's gift to the Interwebs. \ /End rant. 4 Link to comment

Also, the older i7's had an issues with their architecture, before buying make sure it't the newer CPU, the other I7's had a bug resulting in your CD drive and something else not working, USB I think. I have OSX installed on my ASUS EEE 1000HE netbook, along with windows 7. Love the combination, and this thing is about 99% functional under OSX. Ditto to Itch's post above. OSX would have just as many or more exploitations as a PC if more people actually owned one. Link to comment
