BAD NEWS: as it was the case before the ram went to shit I got a message that my copy of windows isnt genuine and I may be victim of counterfeit.. as most of you know I got it from wrathek. First Id like to know if anyone else had that issue regardless of where they bought it and if so if it was fixable... Edited February 11, 2011 by trakaill Link to comment

If it's a retail version, the previous copy had to be uninstalled. There might be other ways to cause the "not genuine" message to appear, google around and there might be a fix. And then of course there's the possibility of it being a non-genuine key. Link to comment
